Vrijwilligerswerk bij Action for Cheetahs Kenya

Op 3 mei is het dan zover en ga ik 2 weken als vrijwilliger werken bij Action for Cheetahs in Nairobi, Kenya. Een stichting die zich inzet voor het behoud van de cheetah onder andere door het uitvoeren van wetenschappelijk onderzoek, voorlichting geven aan en scholing van de lokale bevolking. En het uitvoeren van innovatieve projecten die er voor moeten zorgen dat wildlife, waaronder de cheetah, en de mens in harmonie samen kunnen leven. En aansluitend nog een week op safari naar o.a. Tsavo East National Park om mijn adoptieolifant Tassia te bezoeken.
